Yay! A New Update!

Hello all. Now I know it’s been long since I updated this site. But what can I say? I’ve been busy. But first and foremost, sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve just had such a hectic schedule the past couple of months. I’ve been working closely with my friend, Christian Bruno. We’re both writing the narration behind this documentary on graffiti as a form of art. The endeavor is interesting, and my perception of graffiti as art has definitely changed. So things have been good.

And by the way, sorry that this blog entry won’t include any of my works. I’ve been dying to show you some of the pictures I took. Also, I have a couple of photos I took during the shooting process for the documentary. Those will soon be posted up as well.

Be patient though. I will unveil some of my pictures as I have learned how to load them into my computer, and edit them. Yup... thanks to Video Professor for digital photography, I have become somewhat more technologically literate with the camera LIZard got me last X-mas. I now have the artistic ability to edit and fix a digital picture. I know what you’re all thinking... Why not Photoshop? There’s definitely more for an artist with Photoshop. But remember, I’m still learning. Basics first, then I take the next step; which is Photoshop.

Anyways, speaking of Video Professor and Photoshop, I found this link recently, and it looks like I’m gonna be learning more again (via Video Professor). The link leads to an article that talks about Video Professor’s launch of an in-depth tutorial on the image editing software, Photoshop CS2.
In the article, the Video Professor himself, CEO and founder, John Scherer tells readers that “most photographers, whether beginner or professional, can benefit from photo editing software in some fashion.”

I’m already sold, after learning from the digital photography tutorials. I now know how to do the basics like cropping and resizing images, removing red-eye and even sharpening images. But now I want the ability to learn how to produce more professional-looking photos and graphics. And it looks live Video Professor is the perfect learning tool for that.

I hope I’ll have an update for everyone and hopefully some pictures by the next post. But don’t be surprised if you don’t find anything new on this site next week. It’s going to be hard to slip in some free time with the busy schedule I have. But I hope you’re all doing good. Send me some works if you want my feedback. Since I plan on showing you my works, it’s only fair you get to show me yours. Take care everyone.
